Description

Some cantilever parasols come with covers which can be slotted onto the parasol when not in use. If you plan to keep your parasol outdoors at all times we recommend going for a product that has this feature as it will save you money and maintenance in the long-run. The best covers should be waterproof and easy to clean from moss, dirt and dust. If your product doesn’t come with a cover, you can always buy tarpaulins and secure one yourself – there’s nothing wrong with a little bit of DIY. Additional features (lighting, solar etc) The ease of use is one of my favourite features of this garden parasol. The crank handle makes it incredibly simple to open and close the canopy, which is great for those like me who want a stress-free and enjoyable day outdoors. Just remember, it’s only water-repellent and not fully waterproof, so be cautious in heavy rainfall. The Divine Style Premium Cantilever Parasol is a gamechanger compared to other models, let’s find out why. It includes 24 solar powered LED lights that create a beautiful ambient glow when the sun goes down which means your parasol continues to be useful when its dark. Light and shade combined which will impress your friends & family. After recently setting up my Schneider Rhodos Grande Cantilever Parasol, I was impressed by its high-quality 100% polyester fabric, which is not only rot-proof but also water-repellent. Moreover, having an air vent built-in makes it resistant against strong wind gusts, avoiding damage to the umbrella. I found the fabric easily removable for handwashing, which is a convenient feature. Almost everyone loves a little sunbathing. For this reason, it is necessary to have an adjustable parasol. Easily adjustable is one of the most essential characteristics of an umbrella since you would always need to adjust and readjust the direction according to the rain, wind, or sun.

UV protection is another aspect to consider. With children playing, senior citizens, and families using the parasol, it is crucial to consider the safety aspect of the parasol. After all, the canopy is meant for protection, not to make you ill. A good quality sun umbrella shade should protect you from prolonged exposure to the harmful UVA and UVB rays of the sun to avoid severe skin and health concerns. The led's are surprising ,not massively bright but enough so Ur not sitting in the dark with friends & family (see pictures enclosed)As I set up the SONGMICS Cantilever Garden Patio Parasol in my garden, I instantly loved the design and the built-in LED lights, which created a cosy atmosphere during the night. The parasol provided ample shade during the day and protected me and my family from harmful UV rays, thanks to its UPF 50+ sun protection. Struggling with the wind, sun, and light rain is an average daily occurrence for the average Britisher. While weighing the decorative value of cantilever parasols, it is also necessary to consider the weather resistance of the materials used in the making. The umbrella needs to be durable and long lasting. high, 3.3m wide polyester cover, UV40+ protection, moisture-proof, firm base, lightweight and portable.

Most garden parasols only allow fixed 90° rotation and fixed angles. This outdoor umbrella parasol allows easy movement through 360° and multiple shade angels as the sun moves. This means you achieve optimal shade throughout the day and not accidentally burn. Additionally, it comes with a cover to protect the parasol when not in use. The inclusion of four fillable bases is also a practical feature, providing stability in windy conditions. These features make the GardenCo 3m a good option for those looking for a durable and convenient cantilever parasol for their patio or garden. The crank handle made adjusting the parasol to different angles easy, and the foot pedal on the base allowed for a convenient 360° movement. I appreciated the robust aluminium pole, which provided excellent support and was resistant to rusting or peeling. Additionally, the eight connecting ribs added extra strength to the structure. You won’t incur any additional costs as the LED lights are solar-powered, and the metal frame of the parasol is coated with a rust-free powder to prevent it from damage from chipping or rusting over time. Additionally, the parasol is water-resistant and made from durable fabric so that you can still use it in light rain showers. Keep in mind that the cantilever style of parasol requires a heavier base to counterbalance the canopy while open. Smaller parasols (2-3m) can be held securely with a 50kg base if free-standing, while larger ones (3-4m+) will require a minimum of 50-70kg. 3. Are cantilever parasols good in wind?It is difficult to declare the GardenCo 3m as the best choice over other products without knowing the specific needs of the buyer. However, the GardenCo 3m does offer some attractive features, such as rust-resistant steel and aluminium shaft material, a modern and stylish design, and a convenient crank handle for easy opening and closing. Additionally, the Patio Sun Shade has a sleek and modern design, making it a stylish addition to any outdoor space. However, it does not come with a cover for the bases or a steel/aluminium shaft like the original GardenCo 3m. One alternative to using a cantilever parasol is a traditional garden umbrella. Garden umbrellas come in various sizes and shapes, and they can be either free-standing or mounted to a base. While they may not offer the same flexibility and ease of use as cantilever parasols, garden umbrellas can still provide ample shade and be a stylish addition to any outdoor space. Additionally, they tend to be more affordable than cantilever parasols and may be a better option for those on a budget. However, garden umbrellas may not be as durable and stable as cantilever parasols and may require more maintenance. Size and Coverage

Rust-resistant aluminium pole, 3x3 square metres canopy, polyester material, crank mechanism, UPF 50+ protection. The stability of this parasol is quite impressive. The sturdy rectangular ribs, reinforced joints on the pole, and a ventilation hole at the top all work together to ensure it stays put, even in light wind. However, it’s important to add weights to the base to prevent the parasol from tipping in stronger winds. Although most garden parasols will be made with durable materials, we highly recommend going for materials that won’t rust or stain easily – especially if you have a wall-mounted parasol as this will continuously be outside. Going for rust-free powder coatings and stainless steel are the best options. If you have a garage or somewhere cool and dry where you can store the parasol when it’s not in use, you can be a bit more flexible on the materials. Overall, we recommend going for the highest quality to avoid disappointment. UV Protection Another factor I consider when choosing a cantilever parasol is the system used to open, close, and adjust the umbrella. I prefer parasols with easy-to-use mechanisms, like a crank handle, to make it more user-friendly. Additionally, the adjustability of the canopy in terms of tilt and rotation can provide excellent flexibility in shading different areas of my outdoor space throughout the day. Base and Stability The stability of the cantilever parasol is crucial for safety and durability. I always opt for a strong and sturdy base that will prevent the parasol from tipping over in windy conditions. Some bases come with the option to add extra weight or use ground anchors, which can provide additional support and peace of mind. Assembly and Storage The parasol features a crank handle, which makes it easy to put up and take down. I also appreciate the foldable design, as it doesn’t take up much space when it’s not in use. The 4 fillable bases that come along with it can be easily weighed down with sand or water to provide stability. But, keep in mind, the base stability could still use some slight improvement.

Plus, this parasol can be rotated through 360°, so you can count all-round protection against sun or rain out-there. On the other hand, the parasol is very stable whilst protection because of its full-length cross base. The parasol is also made with wind flap to enhance optimum stability during extreme windy condition. There is also a crank mechanism to make opening and closing a simple task, and the base has a cross design for maximum stability and is filled with either sand or water if extra weight is required.
